This research was conducted to determine the discriminatory behaviours that classroom teachers are exposed to and the factors that cause these behaviours. The research was conducted in the phenomenological model of qualitative research methods. The maximum variation sampling was used as the sampling method, and nineteen class teachers participated in the research. The data were obtained with a semi-structured interview form and analyzed using content analysis. According to the results, the teachers identified the concept of discrimination in accordance with literature. The causes of discrimination at schools are identified in three main themes, which are distribution of responsibilities, using initiatives and reaction processes. Also it was found out that school administrators discriminate against teachers based on their political opinions, personal relations with the administration, age, gender, religion, race and ethnicity, performance and character.
